I played catch-up with Flickfights this week (I was about 12 podcasts behind I think), and I’ve enjoyed the show very very much. The ‘Battle Royale’ feature is awesome. Great job, keep them coming please.

    About this one:

    1) It’s weird and also kind of awesome to hear the voice of the guy whose posts you’ve been reading for months, for the first time. One of my favorite bloggers, one of the best guests you’ve ever had on the show. Bring Derek back soon.

    2) The Darjeeling Limited is great. Wes Anderson is brilliant.

    3) WATCH Infernal Affairs. It’s amazing.

    4) That Quidditch thing you were talking about? Total bullshit. :P Quidditch World Cup Final at the beginning of book 4 (not entirely included in the movie unfortunately, only a tiny scene) ended with Bulgaria getting the Snitch (and scoring thus 150 points), but Ireland won the game, because they were ahead by more than 200 points already. Also the rules of the game make perfect sense, and it would be awesome to play if we could make broomsticks fly. [/harry_potter_nerd/fan]

it’s interesting you mention that You’ve Got Mail has a Jimmy Stewart feel to it – it’s a remake of Ernst Lubitsch’s The Shop Around the Corner, which stars….yep, Jimmy Stewart. You guys might like that one better. Lubitsch > Ephron any day of the week. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0033045/

Guys, that syfy show you mention is “Being Human” and it’s actaully a remake of a UK series of the same name currently airing it’s 3rd season, you should check it out it’s really cool.
