Like a lot of movies, I think I’d like Young Frankenstein better if I saw it again. I’m not well-versed in Brooks, but I think my favorite of his is Robin Hood: Men in Tights. (For all I know, that may have something to do with the fact that it’s the one film of his I saw when I was younger; I thought I’d love Spaceballs, because of my affection for the source material, but both it and Frankenstein were recent films for me, and I was kind of “meh” about both of them.)

I will say that, after watching Young Frankenstein, I had had no idea that Teri Garr was so hot once upon a time, and the one scene I distinctly remember having me laughing out loud was Hackman’s. Great cameo, indeed.
