Barely seen a thousand movies and you feel qualified to review them?

That is totally, unnecessarily harsh. Just because someone has “only” seen 1000 movies invalid. And just because they’ve “only” ranked 1000 movies on Flickchart, doesn’t mean they haven’t seen more.

Anybody’s opinion is valid, and to trash it so easily is petty and stupid.

    • I have felt qualified to form opinions for most of my life, honestly.  I’ll be happy to debate the opinions themselves.  I will not, however, defend their existence.

I have to admit, I’m surprised to hear this movie is even tolerable. The first trailer I saw literally made me shudder.

Besides…how can you have Quentin Tarantino agree to make the Smurfs movie and not have him play Gargamel? :)
